Our Story
In 1975, a small custom leather shop was founded in downtown Athens, Georgia with the heritage motto, "crafted by hand...and heart". For over four decades, the owner and craftsman, Irvin Alhadeff, has doggedly maintained a philosophy that only the finest leather and leather products will make it into his workshop and store. Now, thousands of customers later, Masada has built a national reputation for the finest in handcrafted belts, wallets, bags, sandals, and leather accessories. It’s been a recipe for meeting great people, constant learning, creativity, and enjoyment. So while you’re in town or online on our site, please visit us and check out our newest creations. Our Studio & Products
Masada Leather has an extensive selection of handcrafted leather goods. Our studio is full of beautiful and unique accessories for any occasion, whether that be a gift to yourself or for someone special.
We source only the finest quality leathers in a wide variety of colors and textures. Using these leathers, we are proud to craft and present our stylish collections in house at our Pulaski studio. This includes belts, wallets, bags, journals, and much more!
When you purchase a product, we can also personalize it for you with monogramming and/or branding. Add your initials, the Arch, or a Georgia “G” to your luxurious and handcrafted leather goods!
Custom Made Sandals
Measured, molded, and fitted by hand
All of our Classic sandals are custom made to YOUR feet and wet-molded to YOUR arch. The straps are stripped from latigo hides that have been tanned and “stuffed” with enriching oils in American tanneries. It takes two fittings and usually two weeks to make a pair of these fine sandals. We will need to actually draw your feet the first time we see you and custom wrap/fit the straps around your feet the second time we see you.
