Our Story
In 1975, a small custom leather shop was founded in downtown Athens, Georgia with the heritage motto, "crafted by hand...and heart". For over four decades, the owner and craftsman, Irvin Alhadeff, has doggedly maintained a philosophy that only the finest leather and leather products will make it into his workshop and store. Now, thousands of customers later, Masada has built a national reputation for the finest in handcrafted belts, wallets, bags, sandals, and leather accessories. It’s been a recipe for meeting great people, constant learning, creativity, and enjoyment. So while you’re in town or online on our site, please visit us and check out our newest creations. Our Studio & Products
Masada Leather has an extensive selection of handcrafted leather goods. Our studio is full of beautiful and unique accessories for any occasion, whether that be a gift to yourself or for someone special.
We source only the finest quality leathers in a wide variety of colors and textures. Using these leathers, we are proud to craft and present our Studio Collection in house at our Pulaski studio. This collection is comprised of belts, wallets, bags, journals, and much more!
When you purchase a product from our Studio Collection, we can also personalize it for you with monogramming and/or branding. Add your initials, the Arch, or a Georgia “G” to your luxurious and handcrafted leather goods!
Custom Made Sandals
Measured, molded, and fitted by hand
All of our Classic sandals are custom made to YOUR feet and wet-molded to YOUR arch. The straps are stripped from latigo hides that have been tanned and “stuffed” with enriching oils in American tanneries. It takes two fittings and usually two weeks to make a pair of these fine sandals. We will need to actually draw your feet the first time we see you and custom wrap/fit the straps around your feet the second time we see you.

Do you offer exchanges and refunds?
We will happily exchange any item you purchase from us within 15 days of your receiving it. Please ship to our shipping address at 255 Plum Nelly Road, Athens Ga. 30606. Please note that custom made products will be exchanged, but not refunded. Our goal is that you will LOVE the products we make for you so if you ever have any questions please feel free to call me at my studio 706-521-5632.
How long will it take for you to make my order?
Most of our handmade products can be made and shipped to you within 10 days if it will take us longer than that we will contact you and let you know and confirm that you would still like us to go ahead with your order often times we are able to get stuff out within 48 hours so if you are in a rush please be sure to notify us of that effect and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
What if my belt doesn’t fit when it arrives?
We try to make sure that you order the right size to begin with, so PLEASE take a look at our chart that shows how to measure a belt. Remember that a belt size is usually about 3 inches longer than the pants size, so be sure to take that into account before you order your belt. But even if there is a problem, we assure you that we will still take care of you and get it right! Just ship the belt back to us within 15 days and we will mail you a new one!
How much does shipping cost?
We provide free shipping for any orders over $150. For any orders below that amount, you will only pay $7.50 maximum for shipping. We will pay any balance above that as well as extra insurance for your package.
We are usually at our Pulaski Studio (“trackside” at the Leather’s Building) 10-3 P.M. most weekdays, but be sure to Google our daily hours or call ahead.…other days & hours are by appointment or by chance.
